Grocery List Go-To's
I will say I've gotten pretty good at knowing exactly what I buy when I go to the grocery. It's always changing depending on when I get bored of things or rediscover old foods. But here's my go-to list right now if you need some inspiration! Or if you're a newbie to cooking at home for yourself... these basics make multiple healthy dinners!
Grocery List: Veggies/Greens:
-broccoli
-carrots
-cauliflower
-mushrooms
-bell peppers
-onions
-potatoes (right now I'm into sweet potatoes)
-spinach
-arugula
-kale
Fruits:
-bananas
-apples
-berries (strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry)
-cherries
-kiwis (when in the mood)
Grains:
-Rice
-Quinoa
-Lentils
Proteins:
-tempeh
-tofu
-shrimp
-protein powder
-protein shakes (good for when on the go)
Others:
-Veggie stock (making soups)
-Chickpea pasta & sauce (quick easy dinner)
-Low sodium soy sauce (stir fry dinners)
-Coconut aminos (also used for stir fry type dinners)
Snacks/Deserts: -Endangered Species chocolate (dark chocolate raspberry is my fav)
-Granola
-Kitehill plant-based greek yogurt
