One Day at a Time

I haven’t written in a while, life has been crazy. Ever since I went to New York for my modeling camp I came back feeling so different and having a completely new perspective. I’m grateful for this as it came at a perfect time when I really needed it. I was feeling like I was on the hamster wheel and lacking inspiration. Attending this camp and being on the East Cost really helped reset my brain.

After the camp I went to Coachella for the first time and it was so cool. I literally only went for one day, but it was amazing. I drove up in the morning, went to the concert, and drove back after. Got home at 4 in the morning. I was so tired, but well worth it. It was such a great experience. I loved seeing Rosalia, BLACKPINK, and Umi to name a few of my favorites. Overall it was just a really cool experience.

On top of going to New York and Coachella, I’ve been doing photo shoots on the weekends, working my regular job, and also illustrating a children’s book. I’m excited about the children’s book because it's been a project I've been working on for almost a year and I’m nearing the end. It will still take a lot of time as I have a lot to do, but I'm feeling like I'm close to finishing it and that's really exciting. Having the finish product in hand is going to be so rewarding.

I’ve been feeling good about all these things but it definitely has been a lot. More big changes are about to happen and I’m a little nervous about them. However, I know it’ll be really cool and exciting. Overall I’m feeling really good, but definitely feeling tired on some days while energized on others. I feel like I’m definitely working towards something and that feels fulfilling. I don’t have a clear vision for my end goal, but I know with everything I’m doing and all the experiences I’m having I’m definitely finding my way. Which is really all life is about.

I’ll leave you with all of that for now and once I get this children’s book done I hope to share more. One thing at a time, one step at a time, one day at a time, and slowly we will all get there.
