Steve Madden Boots

Soooo I am trying to get better at:

a.) being financially responsible when it comes to shopping

b.) getting rid of things when I no longer need them or they no longer make me happy

c.) trying to shop more sustainable or thrift

I am getting better at selling/donating clothes I no longer want, and starting to train myself on shopping for sustainably made clothes. A couple weeks back, I realized I needed (wanted) a new black boot for work, going out, fashion purposes, etc. Steve Madden is a brand I know and like, so I went to their website and immediately went to the sales tab. (I don't even want to tempt myself with the full price items right now ahaah) Luckily enough, I found a $120 black boot on sale for only $40!!! I almost thought it was fake lol.

They had the boot in my size too! It was perfect. I added it to my cart (after reviewing the boot and double checking the sites size guides) and hit purchase. I felt great knowing:

A.) that I actually need a black bootie and I'm not just spontaneously purchasing (I had been thinking about this awhile before I went and looked)

B.) I saved a bunch of money by finding something on sale.

I’ll be real, I love fashion (as anyone does) but it can be an expensive hobby lol. However, I am trying to get better at how I go about it. The big three tools of getting rid of clothes I no longer want before getting more, checking out the sales/deals before I pay full price, and looking for more sustainable or second-hand options really makes me feel better when it comes to changing my closet around.
