Festivals, of any kind, are so fun. A multiple-day marathon of dancing, singing, eating, and excitement. But like any marathon, it can be taxing on your body. Let's go over some items that have helped me set myself up for success to enjoy a weekend-long party:
What I pack in my bag:

(Thank you to Away Travel for getting me Coachella ready with their stadium bag!! Linked here: https://www.awaytravel.com/products/stadium-bag-clear?_pos=1&_psq=stadium&_ss=e&_v=1.0)
My wallet (of course)
-Bring only the essentials - ID and credit card. Do research beforehand and see if the festival
accepts Apple Pay. It's easier to use this during festivals so you're not reaching into your bag every two seconds and risk dropping something. Your phone is typically already out or in a pocket so I found using Apple Pay felt way safer!
Cash
-Can't hurt to have an emergency $20 bill on you. Or extra dollar bills in case parking or other vendors only accept cash.
Travel Size Sunscreen
-Festivals are day long endeavors so odds are you are going to be standing around in the sun for long periods of time. If you have sensitive skin like me, apply your sunscreen before leaving and also pack a travel size in your bag - you don't want a gnarly burn to slow you down the next day!
Chapstick
-This goes along with sunscreen - having chapped lips can be so annoying so always making sure you are staying hydrated will keep you feeing your best.
Handheld Fan
-This! This was the first year I remembered to grab one of these guys and it honestly saved me. Standing in the desert in the middle of the day can be brutal at times. I found having this little device for some airflow made the day time way more enjoyable.
Set Festival Schedule as your Lock Screen
-I can't even take credit for this one, I saw my friend Ally do this and it was the most genius idea I've ever seen! Having the schedule as your lock screen means you can quickly see where you need to go next and it doesn't waist precious battery. Also, phone reception can be spotty at a festival so if you don't have a screenshot of the schedule you might not be able to access it.
Portable Phone Charger
-A MUST. Also test it out to make sure it works before heading to the festival!! My phone battery does not like to last very long these days so this is essential for me.
Hair Ties/Clips
-Any girl knows how important this is. Nothing worse than needing your hair out of your face and having nothing to pull it back with! I honestly never leave the house without a hair tie just because I know at some point I'm going to be over it lol.
Collapsible Water Bottle
-I opted to purchase water from the vendors this year but I saw a friend had this and I thought it was so smart! Most festivals have a water filling station so you can bring this water bottle to fill it up with. Hydration is key while being in the desert.
Mini Hairbrush
-This SAVES me from feeling too gross by the end of the night. Having this on deck for a quick fluff before a photo or to brush out all the knots at the end of the night is KEY.
